Stanford University, who has partnered with the Bibliotheca Alexandrina in digitization of Arabic-language books, is holding a special event today in honor of Ismail Serageldin, where he will give two talks: The New Library of Alexandria: A Beacon of Knowledge and For a Better Dialog Between the West and Muslims The event will be attended by the staff, alumni and students, and will be open to the general public.
