NGIC Convenes in Preparatory Meeting

The Nizami Ganjavi International Center (NGIC) convened once again in a preparatory meeting for the third Baku Forum on Shared Societies  to be held in April of this year together with Club de Madrid (CdM) on the theme Rebuilding Trust in Wider Europe – A High Level NGIC/CdM Initiative. Among the topics discussed were:  conflict resolution in wider Europe, the role of the European Union  in dealing with religious radicalization, generating cooperation for peace between Russia, the European Union and the United States, and the role of women in peace building. Serageldin is co-chair of the NGIC together with Vaira Vike-Freiberga, Former President of Latvia. Many former presidents and prime-ministers participated in the conference.
